Intex provided videoconferencing facilities for APEC Summit
1997 Intex and V-Tel linked up 3 educational institutions in Luzon & Visayas, the country's first distance learning facility (PAREF Cebu, Woodrose/Southridge Alabang, Univ. of Asia & the Pacific)
1998 Intex provided videoconferencing facilities of Microsoft IT Forum between Manila and Cebu (with the participation of Bill Gates)
1999 Wireless Services Asia (WSA), a content provider affiliate was established
2000 Wireless Technology Solutions (WTS) was spun off from Intex Telecom Systems to provide services to Globe Telecoms
2001 Intex in partnership with Nokia installed the first nationwide broadband network for PLDT
2002 Software & Engineering Data Systems (S&E) was spun off from Intex Telecom Systems to handle enterprise solutions
2003 Intex celebrated 15th anniversary of partnership with Nokia
2004 Intex Holdings Corporation was established, which marked the beginning of Corporate Reorganization
2005 Intex Systems PLC in Singapore was established
