Distributorship agreement was signed with Ascom Timeplex of Switzerland for the marketing of Prometheus and baseband modems, alloy hubs and multiplexers

Distributorship agreement was signed with Nokia Corp. of Finland for the marketing of datacom equipment

Trade name was changed to Intex Datacom Systems

Start of Intex-Globe Mackay partnership

Start of Intex-PLDT partnership

Intex built Metro Manila digital microwave backbone for Eastern Telecom using Nokia equipment (Nokia's first major sale of microwave radios in Asia)

Intex with V-Tel of Texas established the Philippines' first telemedicine link-up (Makati Medical Center - Stanford Univ. Hospital) using video conferencing

1996

Intex closed a multimillion-dollar deal with PLDT for supply, installation and commissioning of Diginet (one of the world's largest domestic digital transmission networks)

Intex provided videoconferencing facilities for APEC Summit

1997
Intex and V-Tel linked up 3 educational institutions in Luzon & Visayas, the country's first distance learning facility (PAREF Cebu, Woodrose/Southridge Alabang, Univ. of Asia & the Pacific)

Intex provided videoconferencing facilities of Microsoft IT Forum between Manila and Cebu (with the participation of Bill Gates)


1999
Wireless Services Asia (WSA), a content provider affiliate was established

2000
Wireless Technology Solutions (WTS) was spun off from Intex Telecom Systems to provide services to Globe Telecoms

2001
Intex in partnership with Nokia installed the first nationwide broadband network for PLDT

2002
Software & Engineering Data Systems (S&E) was spun off from Intex Telecom Systems to handle enterprise solutions

2003
Intex celebrated 15th anniversary of partnership with Nokia

2004
Intex Holdings Corporation was established, which marked the beginning of Corporate Reorganization

2005
Intex Systems PLC in Singapore was established

Intex entered into a partnership with UTStarcom and handled the project implementation and warranty support of the New Generation Network of PLDT.

2006
WTS started semi-turn key projects from SAQ to civil works with Sun Cellular.

2007
Intex streamlined its operating companies into just two companies, Intex Telecom Systems and Wireless Technology Solutions

WTS started providing IBS services to Sun Cellular.

2008

Intex established a representative office in Jakarta, Indonesia.

WTS started providing IBS services to Smart Telecommunications.

Intex signed a frame agreement for services with Huawei Technologies.
